Another one for the amateur builders

    Lucy launched yesterday. 5 years of effort by a couple friends of mine.

    Only reason I'm posting this is, PAR has said on a number of occasions that he doesn't know of any amateur boat builders who've successfully completed a project of this size. Lucy is over 40'. The builders never built another boat before this, nor were they trained shipwrights, carpenters etc.

    What they were was, very, very focused and determined. They have my admiration.
