Importing to Lake Geneva

    I have a client moving to Switzerland and he wants to take his boat with him.
    Last time I looked the Swiss are not in the EU, so I surmise RCD doesn’t apply there.

    I have been asked to look at fitting electric drive, the same as the water taxis I build here, with British made technology.

    The boat is a 17ft open centre boarder, timber built in the 1970’s. It was built in the UK but currently resides in the UAE.

    Does anyone know of the requirements, set by the Swiss authorities, needed to be met in order to import it?
