Import iPhone LiDAR Scan to CAD

The word Light is pronounced with an eye sound.

L - eye - t

L - eye - dar

or Lie Dar

Cool video, but whoever taught you to say leedar is incorrect.

lol Always watch the full video especially the part at 18:30

that way your’re in on the joke — not part of the joke, when you make a comment

That’s awesome man! You have no idea how much mental torture it does to me when you say leedar.

Yes it can be done and this is how I do it
Have used this technique for several years now, and to be honest, I'm surprised that it's not used more. Most people who should know about it simply have no idea that it even exists. It can in fact be very useful in some cases. Yes, there are more accurate scanners, but they are way more expensive, and often have all sorts of limitations. The good thing with the iPhone is that you need it as a phone anyway, and it's in your pocket when you need it. Importing the files into a decent CAD software is not really a problem. It works perfectly with what I use.
