I'm looking for hull design info

    hi

    I'm searching for information/knowledge/know-how about hull design.
    it can be anythink about design cats, trimarans, monohull's.

    thanks for any help :)

    perhaps someone know any on-line sites with that kinde of knowledge.

    there are plenty sites with knowledge about aerodynamic and how to design and build an airplane.
    perhaps do you know any sites with knowledge about hull design/building.

    excluding boatdesign,net of course

    You might want to study some of the designs of William Garden, Ed Monk,C.G.Davis,Weston Farmer,Jay Benford and George Buehler. I'm sure others can suggest many more......

    I can't explain what the numbers mean - just ratios of comparison and dogmatic crap really - like percentages spewed out of a politicians mouth... :)

    A good place to start fiddling is http://www.carlsondesign.com/#Fun_Shareware ...

    Download that bit and the VRML viewer at http://www.parallelgraphics.com/products/cortona/ ...

    This will give you VERY basic but usable (free is cheapest) 3D development and visualization tools...
