    Laser? It was made an Olympic class in A.H. 1417?

    Ah, but it was made an Olympic class at the ISAF meeting in '93. The 49er was made an Olympic Class in '97, which actually falls in AH1417.

    Gee you guys are a lousy bunch for starting this thread and finish it before one could get in.

    Ah, true, Crag Cay. The decision to add it to the Olympics was indeed made several years before it actually sailed there....
