I have a new box design on my blog. http://douglaseagleson.blogspot.com

It is a dual female/male mold, i.e. two parts. It attacks the question of box cracking at the hull seam.

    Hull Crosssection

    *****************hull sides
    @**************
    @*************
    @************
    @**********
    @@@box flange-exterior

    @- is box

The mold is diagrammed in the blog image.

I am hoping to allow its usage on wooden dinghys in general also. It stops the main dinghy leak route.

You may want to invest some time in your drawing and presentation, as table napkin sketches, no matter how enlightened, generally don't get well recieved.

    I tried, and was defeated.
