solar sail on inflatable sailboat

    They could be small solar panels (at a very poor angle to the sun).
    Or duct tape of very impressive width.

    not works , the solar cell must be have right direction to the sun.

    looks like it, there are what look like wires coming off each panel and running down the mast. They would need much larger panels if they intend to power the boat that way.

    yes, solar panels, this was the first boat with photovoltaic sails and electric motor, this technology is patented by zetech and right now is in the Barcellona boatshow
    this kind of solar cell work well even if not in the right direction.
    They worked well and i made 250 miles around sicily charging what i need for coming in and out of ports.
