My advice to people who dream of cruising is always the same. Charter a boat or crew in one for an extended period. You may like it or hate it, but at least you will know if that life is for you.

Indeed. It's not like we see this the 1st time - maybe not solar but a desire and insistence of own novel solutions with nearly zero experience.

Sailing lessons and week long hiking trecks should be the very 1st and inexpensive investment.

Btw just got the imaginary disease - which last time had me coughing blood (1st time ever) and very long recovery to same aerobic fitness as before it - also first time ever from any kind of flue.

I don't know about Greece but at least in Finland the healthcare is pretty nice thing for one's survival. I know I would miss both parents without it.

Tired of fairytales by adult people.

Sorry to hear that, but it was predicted by enough experts that the most stupid thing to do was to inject the world's population with experimental MRNA gene therapy. What did you think would happen?
As I said, I care not to debate and educate the ignorant masses anymore. If you trust your government has your best interests at heart, then good luck to you.

As it happens, I put my trust in the Fifth Dimension and as I speak, I've been completing a 40ft power catamaran, which I'm fitting out to be a solar powered cat. I've been working on this since Nov 2023 and hope to finish by the end of the year, if not sooner. The project will probably come in under £70,000 and hopefully be worth a good deal more than that. I've been documenting the build a d will release the footage publicly once she is on the water. No surprise that the name I have in mind, is 'The Fifth Dimension'.

By contrast, I bought a 25 foot 1969 Coronado sailboat for $830.00. I sailed in the Great Lakes for a couple of years, and then down the Mississippi ending in Colombia. KISS
