overlap geni's or aggressive non-overlap jibs?

    Which is more efficient for a race craft and why? Does an aggressive jib require a taller frac. stick? One more thing would it effect you lat. center of mass.

    Overlapping headsails work better and drive you throw chop substancially better. There also more efficent due to the slot effect

    However non overlappers can have tighter sheeting angle i.e. point higher. Carry a rating advantage generally these boats should be near masthead so the backstay works directly to control forestay tension.
