Hello , i like to have some advise

    Boat : aluminum catamaran
Project : Make A Wood roof (wood , isolation, and wood)

For me if think it is better to keep the aluminium structure of the boat.
like to insert a layer of wood , isolation and layer of wood on the top

What to you think, is that possible ?
How to attach the material to each other ?

What do you think , thank you
    what you will do ?

I'd laminate veneer on PVC foam core with epoxy.. If needed bcs of structural reasons some uni or biax btw the core and veneer.

To me putting wood over aluminum adds maintenance and cost. For insulation/isolation beside the appropriate paint, lately I have been coating it with a 100% silicon paint inside and out. It makes a huge difference in temperature and sound transmission.
