How to validate the RAO curve from Ansys AQWA using manual calculations

    hello, I am analyzing the motion response of a marine platform (0 knots) and have obtained a RAO curve. Is there an equation that I can use to calculate empirically, and prove the RAO curve so that it is the same as the manual calculation. Is there a journal/book reference that explains the formula and stages for calculating the RAO response in AQWA? Thank You
