    i have the particulars, displacement and speed. u guys have excel of powering there wer i can input my datas?

    Google "Hullcalc.xls". I don't know the theory behind it but it estimates the "break power" of the motor needed to push a boat. You can also use delftship free to estimate the propulsive power needed (probably more precise).
