Hi guys what material do you recommend to make the cargo netting on the front of a catamaran? I was thinking of using 550 paracord would this be a good option? Thanks in advance!

I ordered my net from a company in Florida. It was not cheap, but 10 year warranty.

It is like safety belt or ratchet strap and glued on the intersections. Needs to be tighter, but looks nice. They helped me more than a California company. But my boat is super complicated and has side nets (black, not tied in pic). I believe there is a company right in San Diego that can make a nice net for you.

The lines are all 1/4 or 5/16" dyneema.

If you want cheap netting a trawl supply is probably the best source.

Seems like 550 paracord would be pretty stretchy...
