    Greetings.
I have question on logical next step in my career. I am final year student of M. Eng. of naval architecture. During my study I mainly delt with merchant ships. Now when I am some few months away from getting my degree, I am thinking what are some recommendations for self-study in area mentioned in title of this topic. Currently my career is tied with hydrodynamic analysis in offshore operations. Thanks in advance for advices.

Thank you all for replying. But I plan to learn about yacht design (or more in general "Small Craft Design") as a side project. I always wanted to learn more about this topic, but on the University level, there is not much that you can learn about the specifics of small craft design.

Big boats = Big Money. Small boats = Small money. Enough said. Make your living and live well and you can always dabble in small boats on the side.
