Has anyone used simrad fishfinder combo's. I am looking at getting a 7 inch combo but i don't know how reliable they are. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have been running a NSE8 for several years now, it has been accurate and reliable, and handles my autopilot as well.
The MFG offers software upgrades from time to time, so I haven't felt the need to buy a new unit to keep up as new tech becomes available.
My local West Marine store has a bunch of them on the bargain table, don't know if that is so at all the stores, but it does offer you a great excuse to fly to Honolulu!
