How to achive uniform non skid

    yes, I've seen professional wooden boat builders put out wonderful boats with crappy uneven non-skid in the painted on decks.

    Trick is the right amount of grit - also two coats rolled on in different roller directions.

    Rough Coat (tm) epoxy is a tan thin epoxy with just the right amount of fine grit - soft enough for bare feet - comes in tan but you can paint over it. sampler and gallon sizes.
