I cut thin oak wood. What is the best method to attached the wood to the new fiberglass hull layer by layer. I have many clamps. What works best. Any help , I thank you..

How thin, what's the application as a gunnel is a fairly broad element, built may ways. You should remove the tannins from the oak before bonding with epoxy.

Unless you have a very tight curve somewhere, it is better to make the gunwhale in one laminate. Otherwise, instead of fairing the sheer it will follow any bumps and hollows. Clean the wood with a mixture of acetone and alcohol before gluing.
