Looking at 1979 23Ft South Coast Sailboat. Went looking on the net for some design details. It was interesting when I put the HIN to get the manufacture. It told me that the boat was made by Stowe Canoe, VT. Does anyone have some good links for South Coast Sailboats.

Are there any options on how good of sailboats South Coasts where?

We own as South Coast 22. There is a pretty good owners group here: http://southcoastus.tripod.com/sc22.html

I'm surprised at the builder though... far as I know the South Coasts were all built in Shreveport, LA.

The CG has had to recycle the three letter identifier in the HIN.

Not sure the time between recycling, but this may be an example.
