We are not addicted to war. We are addicted to not letting us attack us without payback. Don't attack us and there will be no war.

Just wait until we remove our peacekeeping forces from Europe and see what happens next. We will see who is addicted to war.

No, just since the last world war will do.

Here's my "postulate": you'll keep voting in politicians who will involve you in
overseas adventures (whether the majority agrees or not) and you'll have to
pay for it until your credit card is maxed out. :)

I'm happy to admit that the World Wars were noble causes, and the US made
great, noble sacrifices. Since then, you have bombed the innocent citizens of
many countries who were not responsible in any way for attacks on the US.

Yes, and some of them love it to death too. You have just proved you are not unique in that respect. :)

Well I didn't vote them in.

I suppose there are two kinds of conflicts rolling along following WWII in which the US has had a hand- geopolitical from all the brush fires of the cold war, and the resource wars where we have shown our hand in the affairs of middle east.

    United Nations anyone?
We keep that ball in play and the US (and others) will be called to war addiction or no..

It wouldn't matter if you did or not.

In other words, you just can't stop :p

(Is it the USA way to put out "brush fires" with napalm?)

So I take it 'real' Republicans are stupid?:D

Face it: anytime more than half the Republicans in the Senate officially sign onto a bill as sponsors, it isn't because they're RINO's or dupes.

Isn't that the definition of a volunteer? That you're doing something because you believe it needs to be done, rather than for your own personal profit?

"Legitimate military targets," my @$$. Don't you ever get tired of being an apologist for Japanese atrocities, Frosty? You habitually mention that there happened to be a school in the middle of one of our military targets, and totally ignore what the Japanese made a habit of doing: raping, looting and slaughtering civilians everywhere they went.

They murdered 23 million Chinese citizens and ethnic Chinese, along with millions of other people. There are pictures on Wikipedia of Japanese soldiers burying Chinese prisoners alive, while other soldiers stand idly watching, with their hands in their pockets. Where's your moral indignation about that, Frosty?

When it comes to discussing anything involving the US, you turn into a complete troll. It's obviously personal with you. Maybe you lost your girlfriend to an American sailor, or got laughed at in bar for losing an arm wrestling match? Who knows....
