There are no innocents in a war. "collateral damage" is an ignorant concept. War is war is hell. You want to win? You have to make the enemy surrender! You don't do that by killing their soldiers. You have attack and stop their capacity to SEND soldiers. Women are soldier factories. Children are the next wave.

    Study the history of war.
That's why war is always horrible.
It's not rugby or American/Canadian/Australian gladiator football.

Don't like it? Think it's cruel and barbaric? Exactly! Don't go to war! But when you do war, don't do it "Half-arsed" or it goes on forever!

I'm sure many, many American citizens feel exactly the way you do, Yob.
But they'll vote for a war-monger anyway, and then spout fine rhetoric about
    the horrors of war.

Quote Battan: ("you refused to send bombs and ammunition to UK because you were not sure we could pay, the Canadians paid our last bill as we gave you all we had and were bankrupt.") Last year England made it's final war dept payment to the United States-- Don't think it ever payed Canada back a cent--as a matter of fact it still owes the former Country of Newfoundland a WW1 war dept of $15,000,000(15 million) in 1918 dollars. Don't know what value that would be today but i do know it was one of the prime factors for almost driving Newfoundland into bankrupsy. $15 million is a lot of tax money for a then population of 300,000 to sustain. Not one cent has ever been repaid on that loan.

War is horrible! Fight to win so you can get it over with as soon as possible. Make it hell so the other side will stop their aggression.

It still comes down to the footsoldier as proven in Korea,Viet Nam, Afganastan(Russians) and I suspect Afganastan and the middle east in general with the western powers involved. Remote technology can do only so much but if you don't kill them all you still have to go in and mop up house by house and street by street as the Germans found out in operation Barbarosia.

Let's be clear: from the Urals to the Far West, we are more or less a population with common roots.
I do not think we are doing so bad.
the world was controlled by Spanish, British, now American ... but we are always us.
    That's okay ...;)

I don't need to take orders from an atheist and communist China dictator , or some other as**ole.

You wonder had Germany not declared war on the USA after Pearl Harbour, how differently things might have gone. At that stage the Germans were supremely confident the Russians were about to cave in. Had they done so, it is an open question in my mind as to whether the USA would have pursued the European War with just the UK hanging on. We will never know the answer.

Turned out ok though imagine if Germany had wont the war Quote from a German I know.

What it turned out to be was a mindless loss of life and money.

Twice the super race tried to take over the world in the same century. They are trying again but this time they are trying to buy it. And this time no one is noticing it.

I will never ever forgive Queen Elizebeth for allowing RR to go German --silly stupid ignorant cow!!!. Shes uses them and could save RR with petty cash from her purse.

They are German too,--- Batenburgs ( like the cake) How the hell did we get in this mess.

If what you propose is so great Frosty, again I dare you to go and live in Syria or Libya today Frosty. Buy a house there and put your money in the bank there tomorrow. I think what you say is only talk and you don't walk the walk of your own talk.

I don't think WWI was a case of Germany trying to take over the world, by any means. Armies were mobilising against it on two fronts in conformity with alliance obligations, and attack was probably the only option for Germany to avoid invasion on two fronts. The mad Nazis were another matter.

The Volkswagen-literally, people's machine- was made by Hitler.
A car was designed by Ferdinand Porsche (and Hitler): was the beetle. (kubelswagen version in IIWAR ).

If you look at the symbol of the Volkswagen, you can find that SS and Volkswagen characters are similar.
It is disturbing that today the RR is to be purchased from Volkswagen.

It is undeniable that if Germany continues its monetary policy, Europe will blast. It would be the third time ...1914.1939, 2012 An Italian proverb says: "there is no 2 without 3".
In Latin would be: "Vulpes pilum mutat, non mores"

(Gaio Svetonio Tranquillo, Vespasian's life, 16)
