Why not? The North Pole is always 90 degrees!

HUh? Why is maintenance of North Pole Uncle Sams obligation? It's either Canadian territory, or adjacent to. Or would you prefer Russia do it. They'd probably put an onion dome on top instead of a finial.

When the North Pole is in Tampa, I volunteer to paint it personally. Water paints. At 30 degrees below zero, it'll resemble armor plating!

You're right, the fog and rain out here is not nice. Up the coast, August is known as "Fogust and after that till May-ish the inlets can be socked in for days on end.

Right now in Van there is quite a bit of snow, and it's -5 out. Areas in the Fraser Valley have had 25 to 40 cm of snow a few days this week.

yah that did kinda sound like I was planing to emigrate to Alaska, no Hoyt I'm not quite that dumb but I appreciate the thought.

Deal is I could probably get my Canadian citizenship not only because both my parents were Canadian but due to the Iroquois thing as well. They have great health care up there which is something this nation will never have ( thank you republitards ) . So for us poor boys its important to plan out our pilgrimage accordingly. I'd like to think the retire to Alaska and do eco tours plan will work out but it never hurts to have a back up thats as practical as one can make it. = buy a piece of dirt overlooking some water and long for the day I can afford to.

I'm not that old and I'm still running about 3 miles every other day or so, so I'm thinking I'm in reasonable shape. But the day will eventually come when a little health care will go a long way. Gotta figure out how to deal with that and not break the bank.
