And would they be worth savaging shortly after they are abandoned (not like after a week of being semi-swamped and bashed among rocks)?

Are they pretty good quality materials and build?

Not sure what I'd PERSONALLY do with the boats but I'm guessing the nearly new large outboards are also being abandoned as their is unlimited funds behind all this. Maybe collect about 50 setups and put them in a shipping container for "retail" sales up in Alaska or anywhere they might command a good price, maybe for running cargo up rivers.

Not clear from ad exactly what is item on offer but says "PVC hull" but I've seen close up of wrecked refugee trafficking inflatables and it seemed like coated fabric like a "real" inflatable and without any ridge floor and bigger than 8m. And some videos show very long overloaded inflatables freely following the waves like limp noodles. But I guess $1000 split 15x2=30 passengers (not counting outboard) is still pretty cheap even for one time use.

Maybe the grey boat is a 8M.

I'm in Alaska, not sure about river freight or other uses. But they finally made an inflatable with big enough tubes for the weather we run to the beach in.

My last raft was some oddball brand with 17 inch tubes on a 8 footer. Could float 4 burly guys ashore and one could pack it up to the tide line. It died a horrid death from an inebriated man on an ATV driving like crazy down a beach. Tore both tubes in half.
