i need some help! i would like to build a swift solo for my senior project but sorta have a time limit.

if anyone who has built a swift solo could tell me how much time it took them and the overall cost of the project I'd be much obliged. :D

    Thank You So Much,

Hi Rachel - I would estimate at least 600 hours of work, but your best bet is to try http://www.single-handedskiffs.com/homepage.html if you havent done so already, and then have a look at the Sailing Anarchy Forums - Dinghy Anarchy section (Bram posts there a lot, as do many other Swift Solo designers and builders). If its your first time building a boat, it would probably be worth building a canoe of some sort first to get aquainted with the techniques - maybe 200 hours for a 'Wee Lassie' (the name of the design!) style canoe. hope this helps
