Higher Cp at higher speeds equates to less resistance?

    The problem with theory, is:

Theory only gets you so far, and often, especially with hull design, is only applicable in theory and under extremely strict steady state conditions to obtain such "gains" or "benefits".
In other words, great looking graphs, but no finsihed boat!

If you want advice... draw the boat up...allocate space and weight to your design at at the correct scale... then and only then can you begin discussions on what is or is not possible to reduce drag on YOUR design, not some theoretical hull that is not your hull and not built.

Great, Then search Hydrodynamic Research by Leo Lazauskas, a member of this forum.

So finally, it is a flea powered boat or something preferably pedal power, sail, or lawn mower engine. And could be a cat?

Try this Kayak design parameters. https://www.boatdesign.net/threads/kayak-design-parameters.37739/page-3#post-458683
or search Leo's work in Cyberiad OPTIMUM HULL SPACING OF A FAMILY OF MULTIHULLS E. O. Tuck and L. Lazauskas

Try also Dolfiman, a member of this forum. He can optimize a hull form as easy mono or cat.

By the way, the software is free.

DogCavalry Soy Soylent Green: I can't believe it's not people

Or follow my approach: bash bits of wood together with epoxy and saw off what you don't like, until it's a boat!
