    Does any one know any calculations or formulas concerning propellers. As in does any one know the equation for thrust of a propeller or the water displaced by 1 rotation of a propeller.
    Any equations welcome
    Thankyou

    T=1/8*rho*pi*D^2*(Pn-Va)^3

    ....assuming invisicid irrotational perfect flow.

    However the question is too unspecific and the answer above is most likely incorrect as a test answer. Get your hands on any basic Naval Architecture text from about 1890 on and you will get the current theory de'joure. Modern theories can be broken down into lifting line, lifting surface, and energy methods....pick your posion.
