Hereshoff/Haven 12 1/2 daysailers

    If you want a lighter boat, I wotw for the Navigator. It's really good looking and probably fast and well behaved, much better than the more flat bottomed boats.

    Raggi,
    Joel White died several years ago. SeaDrive ,The Haven 12 1/2 is a centerboard version of the Herreshoff.

    Chandler, sorry, I didn't know that.
    I think I read about the Haven 12 1/2 in Woodenboat magazine a few years ago, now I see that it was probably 10 years ago (?).

    Anyway, the Haven 12 1/2 looks great and the centerboard makes it more practical for many owners.
