    I understood your way of thinking . This is more related to the specificity of plywood as a material. If we took a quarter ply-foam-ply sandwich, we would obtain even greater stiffness but worse punch resistance. And it also depends on what kind of punch exactly.

    They are more like multirole fighters or like Germans use meaning destroyers.
