    Hello Everyone,
I'm using Maxsurf Stability Ultimate CONNECT Edition (Student Version) while running stability for container vessel it shows error and shows these comment "stability was unable to converge to the desired precision".

In addition to checking the accuracy in the calculations you are using, it is possible that the trim is excessive in that load condition.

Perhaps a perspective view can help analyze the problem.
Probably the "Frame of Reference" is not well defined.
The positions of CB and CF cannot be correct.
The DWL is not seen. The DWL must be positioned with respect to the baseline.

But how to define the frame of reference?

    Is this ok?

Define the position of the Zero Point. The normal thing is to place the baseline passing through the lowest point of the hull. Next you give the height of the DWL, giving the draft at full load that you want to set. The software is then asked to place the App and Fpp at the fore and aft ends of the previously marked floatation.
Use the Maxsurf user manual. I assure you that it is very useful.

And what is the meaning of the Reference point?

@R. Thierry, I could answer as many questions as you want to ask but I assure you that we would save a lot of work, yours and mine, if you studied the Maxsurf user manual. It is not possible to use a program without first having studied, at least, its nomenclature.
