Help with delftship/ small boat

Hello everyone
I've been on this forum for a couple years just never registered. A lot of great information and help.

I've recently downloaded delftship free. I've realized I basically have no idea how to use it. I've spent hours on YouTube and found a couple good tutorials However I still can't seem to grasp a basic understanding.

My goal is to design and build with aluminum a small boat for my son. Something about 6 or 8 feet long. Replica of a onboard jet boat. I realize I could easily cut this and weld together however I was hoping to learn to use the software on something this basic so in the future I can build myself a boat that is bigger.

So my hope is to find someone with good knowledge of delftship that would be willing to spend some time on Skype with me. Schedule could be arranged and I can be flexible. I couldn't afford a lot but I would be happy to pay someone.

I know a fair amount of folks are going to say spend more time learning or to do something else. I get that. However I would enjoy learning something new and turning this into a new hobby. Plus my boy really wants his own boat.
