Force equotation

    Good day all.

    I found below equotation.

    F total = F mwind + F mloll + Root(Facc^2 + (F ewind - F mwind + F eloll - Fmloll)^2) - F fric

    But I cound not find Which guideline or regulation does it come from?

    John the things that you have posted is not clear. Please explain what you need to know.

    Thanks for reply.

    Above equation is about design force on the cargo during dry tow of self propelled heavy lift transports.

    As i understand, Force on the cargo during dry tow is cargo weight * acceleration of the vessel due to ship motions. (F acc)

    but above equation consider many other thins not only F acc.

    I can not be sured above equotation is correct or not because I can see equation only some documents not official document such as Noble Denton etc.

    If give me any information or guide, it will be much helpful.
