Waterat 505

Hi,

On the international 505 website, there seems to be a lot of discussion about two American 505 manufactures. Waterat and Lindsey.

Here's the crazy part, if I google Waterat sailboats, nothing comes up. How is that possible? How is it possible for a boat manufacture to not have a website?

Anyone have any info on waterat?

 

Easy enough to do without a website if you have sufficient a name that your customers come looking for you. I understand that Larry is a 505 specialist, so probably has no need for a web presence, or he may have scaled things down.

Anyway, its going to be best by far to make enquiries through the 505 forum or whatever they have, or maybe through SA, I don't think you'll find many high end racing boat people here.
this isn't really the place for serious racing boat people.

 

GG; Surely racing boat people are welcome here. True that racing is not the principal function of the forum but there are many go fast enthusiasts who participate. I am pleased that we do exhibit a bit more gentlemanly behavior that the denizens of hard core racing sites like Sailing Anarchy.

Truth to tell, we are almost all racers even though we vigorously deny it. Put two similar sized sailboats in the same body of water and they will almost surely be checking one another out.
