seakeeper vs tanktest

    Hello
    we had model in seakeeper, beam sea moderate 1.8m sea, the boat displayed what to me seemed unatural roll, whippy, showing her screw at times
    chine disp hull, 13.5 wl 3.8 wlbeam
    I have never seen a model in seakeeper, but it seemed unatural, as though the wave patterns were really close, steep to
    Any ideas

    Appendix B of the Seakeeper user manual has a series of validations of Seakeeper motion calculations versus tank tests. Like all strip theory methods, there are some limitations on accuracy for purely beam seas.
