    You have a problem.

I just cut one up and there is no where near that much hog in the deck.

Sorry, I am not able to translate.

Do you think the deck has a bad curve. You build the deck flatter? Is it?

If you were trying to duplicate the Tornado, I don't think there is more than about 3/4" height difference in the deck, with the center highest. Sorry I don't have exact dimensions, I forgot to measure before I cut up the hull.

If you were trying to duplicate the beautiful red boat, I don't have any knowledge of that boat, but modern reversed bows certainly cause a larger curve in the deck.

Hogged is a term that means the deck is higher in the center of the length. Older boats (monohulls) were curved down in the center, and if the deck line was bowing upward like the back of a pig (or hog) then it was a sign that something was wrong with the strength of the boat.

As far as your sections in the boat you want to build, I am not a designer, but I believe that circular sections below the waterline might not be desirable in the bow. Some sharpness will resist leeway , and prevent the boat from wandering around the course line.

Again, I am not a designer, nor do I sail a current catamaran.

    Good luck.
