Weight effect on trim

On a typical flat bottom Jon boat hull as pictured, would a weight placed fore affect the trim more than the same weight placed equidistant of center aft? (due to the change in hull shape/submerged volume)

Part of me feels like this is a dumb question, but part of me thinks it’s legitimate. I can’t decide. Now I’m thinking probably yes, but maybe not much different unless extremely heavy vs weight of the boat.

Yes it would because the waterplane aft is larger. That means that for the same distance it gets submerged, the aft section has more volume. Or to look at it from a different perspective, the aft section needs less immersion to have the same volume (an buoyancy) than the forward.
