    Hello,

I'm a mechanical engineering student at Colorado State Univiversity, and as part of a design project this semester, I am building a cigarette boat model. I will be using a CNS machine to constuct the hull and basic boat, and I will be working towards making a model kit that a 12 year old is capable of assembling. I thought that any one of you guys would be an excellent resource for further information on the angles and design of the boat. I don't need an exact replica, but I would like it to be as thorough as possible. I hope to make the model approximately 12 inches long.

Would any of you be able to provide me with some general design information to start off wit? I will need to program all the info into a CNS machine and make complete pert charts and drawings for everything. If not, do you have any suggestions otherwise?

    Thanks for your time,

    Daniel Woldtvedt

I don't know what Cigarrette are using. But have a look around on the forum for power-boat design related threads.
