This photo was taken from the suburbs of Paris and posted on the Wall Street Journal, Yankee rag at that. And it is the final straw on this Yankee's back. Its one thing thing to swindle the poor for oil. And its another to arrogantly call us indecipherable names while wooing our women with bitter red wine. Why I'll even fight wars you start but cannot finish.

But no one burns our highland fries, no matter how awful they may taste! ;)

:D My children (all children?!?) will now declare war on the French! Adults will praise them or buy them a beer!

Conversely it's typical French food - overcooked, overpriced and over there, to echo my mate Bergalia

    Vive la France!:D  :D

I thought burghers were Dutch, and the Yanks just left out the "H" as usual. Or is that the Cockneys?

As that great Scots humourist, Mark McTwain wrote: "They spell it Vinci and pronounce it Vinchy. Foreigners always spell better than they pronounce..."

As for Cockneys - no such animal outside the fervid imaginings of Hollywood - 'My Fair lady'; 'Mary Poppins' etc etc

There were 1,295 cars burned in France on Saturday night alone. Another 897 on Friday night. Yesterday the cops nabbed six high-schoolers (all under 18) from a makeshift Molotov-cocktail factory.

Somehow I think McD's is quite glad that their building is still standing at all....
