    Hi,
Have anybody heard about HARTH (high aspect ratio tween hull)?
I saw Hydrolance.net, but it looks like conceptual design not real! can you please show other designer or shipyard working on this kind of vessel?

The harth has been built (a small one), to my knowledge, although the reference i once had, a web site, has now been removed.
It is just a very long slender catamaran hull form, nothing special.
The hydrolance.net link is just a concept, yes.

Thanks for that, more info than i previously had and knew about...mind you, it was scant at best.
I agree with the comments you posted about the Harth (on the thread), given what 'they' came out with as replies too. Utter rubbish claims...still, nice to see fantasy is not restricted to the Disney channel :)

There are some similarities, but unless that boat's builder has a licence from Hydro-Lance, it's not a "HARTH". They consider the terminology to be as proprietary as the concept and the math (if any) behind the concept.

Would be an interesting court case should they get anoyed...

Judge: So, please explain how the HARTH works...?
Hydro-Lance: Flowers bloom and the air is sucked in for free, then the sun shines and that is free heat, and .....
Judge: Ok, so how does it work..???

    AdHoc,
Everyone knows a HARTH ship is powered by the triple JT8D low-bypass turbofans of the Boeing 727 to which it is bolted ;)
