Is there such a thing as a hard, slick bottom paint that barnacles can't get good adhesion to and can be brushed off every few weeks? For a catamaran with shallow draft that can also be beached to brush bottom.

There is a company called Sound Specialty Coatings that has a product called Aquaply M, that is supposed to be such a paint. But have read some negative things about the company, so not sure if it is realistic or not.

If not, what are options to have a deep red hull bottom with a shinny finish?

Obviously I know next to nothing about bottom paints, so could use a little direction as to where to start looking & learning.

    Cheers, Allen
