    Not sure I'd put windsurfing and foilboarding in the great monohull category, though the windsurfing one was all balls.

    Here's a classic of Riou before his perfect Vendee Globe victory. For those who don't know this is the twice winning Finot design PRB.

    A nice video linked by John Welsford of one of his walkabout dinghy designs in action it looks like a handy little craft. The owner/builder of this craft has constructed the boat with a leeboard instead of the standard offset centerboard. I'm not personally a fan of leeboards but it seems to work ok in this application.
