This is a tip to help both on and off boat cleaning.

My wife cleaned my stainless steel barbeque last week. I immediately noticed a massive difference and asked what she'd used.

Answer - Coca Cola! Wipe/pore a generous amount on and leave for 5 minutes then cleaned off. Rust stains have gone (I know, how can SS rust...) as well as old fat stains etc.. that I'd tried many times to softly remove.

Try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Don't tell the kids though.....

    Contains phosphoric acid.

Greenhouse supply/gardening stores/Home DePot usually have a PH down mixture, couple pounds for $10... dilutes quite a lot.

Lots of soft drinks have it. It adds tartness.

Add some dry used coffee grounds to it for grit and it will sparkle.
