I noticed a catamaran designed and built by Marc Ginisty while browsing Yachtworld, and was amazed by the openness of the interior design. Would there be drawbacks from such an open design on performance, durability, and/or comfort? I did some searching and found what appears to be the designers website, but there wasn't much information about the design there. Would anyone here have some further information about this boat? It appears to have traveled a significant distance from it's launch, but can anyone speak as to the actual efficacy of the design? Does anyone know more about the designer? Are there any other designs out there with similar open interiors? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm a bit intrigued and have hit a bit of a wall using Google to answer them.
