    AAAh Tom,
Thems stirring words, but so close to seasonal overfeeding, I can" really be bothered.

To take full advantage, first, your tent/cave must be oriented so as to catch the benefits of the warming sun and the cooling breezes when and as needed.

For those who DEMAND a, warmer in winter, or cooler in summer, from an existing box of ticky-tacky, then insulation is the go to make sure any energy used in heating/cooling stays where it is wanted.

If you want the heating outside, light a big bonfire, but expect to freeze when the fuel runs out and answers from the fire/police!

In my home, downstairs is 4 to 6 degrees Celsius cooler in summer, and upstairs is 4 to 6 degrees warmer in winter, naturally, when compared to the ambient temperature outside. All in the design! Designed and built 30 years ago. Not technology driven, - using intellect & available knowledge.

The compulsory insulation is to reduce the amount of electricity ijits use to run electric bar heaters to warm their non-insulated homes. Then the govimint does not need to build more power-stations.

Whilst you are all worrying about the planet consider this - item in the news today, it appears that the arctic walrus (yeah that's right the Arctic WALRUS) is in danger, it appears that the ice is either not forming or melting to quick and the beasts have to stay ashore in the summer rather than go out on ice flows and hunt for nice fish! Some 4000 young bulls were killed last year in stampedes! NOW I am getting a little worried about this for some reason! So who ever is responsible could they please stop us walrus's need our ice (this one prefers it in inch cubes floating in his glass of something stong and dark but each to his own)

Apart from the obvious joke side it is looking serious for a lot of the worlds aquatic animals!

Ho, Ho, Ho! Safie, Not only a walrus issue. What about the cuddly "polar bears"? Do they now only exist in zoos as "performance stars"?

Methinks you will need to migrate to the opposite end and learn to eat penguins?

Or, eat Japanese to recycle the whales (your relatives?), the Japanese eat!

Now that would be poetic justice?

I hope something drastic happens soon, humanity is placing too much pressure on global resources. A "natural disaster" cull seems an appropriate remedy - floods are out as the bible promises not that again.

Que serra (or however it is spelt)

Polar bears are a fiction made up by the liberal media. They cannot possibly exist anymore because the last great warming event, which was much warmer than today or even projections of 100 years hence, and lasted for hundreds of years, would have certainly driven them to extinction since there was no ice on the north pole during that time.

This has been a constant cry from radical environmentalists for a half century now. None of their predictions has come even close to passing; in fact they are (with a couple of notable exceptions) farther away from reality than 50 years ago. With proper resource management we have made almost every resource cheaper for future generations than it was for us. As stated, with a only couple of exceptions.

But certainly no 'cull' is needed.

There is only one cull needed - two legged mammals who think they own the place, lots of them!

If that (Darwin's Natural Selection) means smart as applying intelligence then do it "Mother Nature!". For there are too many smart-arses cluttering up this planet.
