I thought we need to agree that climate gate is a new religion ( power, control and money, death and damnation to the disbelievers)
after all has any other envirommental issues worth a whole show by Gov Jessie Ventura?

I like Jesse Ventura's personality, but he is a showman, not what I'd call a credible source or an expert investigator! :)

His professional wrestling career still definetly influences his style. :)

    http://astro.ic.ac.uk/research/solar-irradiance-variation

Recent 15 years of heightened solar activity, resulted in the observed small temperature rise of 3 tenths of a degree C during this period.

Sun drives climate, NOT CO2. Since the sun is THE source of heat for the earth, a slightly more active sun means a warmer earth. No buz words or tail wags the dog theories necessary. CO2 advocates have to give long winded complex explanations, how a tiny bit of CO2 forces big changes in greenhouse effect. Because CO2 doesn't drive temperature in reality, hence the song and dance routine.
We are recently seeing lower tempertures for 2011 and the 1st quarter of 2012 due to current calmer solar activity. It's predicted it will become MORE apparent and obvious over next several years. Actually, cooling untill 2030 because of a longer predicted solar calm cycle.. We'll be acutely aware of the cooling in the next 2 to 3 years.

The chart below. The PMOD composite (adapted from Frohlich, 2009). Short sharp drops in the daily data (red) are the result of sunspot passages. The running mean (black line) shows a clear increase of 0.1% over an 11-year cycle.

Solar cycle is 11 years and the peak is 2012 and so far less activity than previous years so maybe world cools down..inconveniant truth??

I believe it. There are many more reputable solar scientists and organizations saying the same. It's the sun.

I've posted many quotes about the sun, but the alarmists ignore it. Kinda hard to ignore that raging ball of fire in the sky. LOL

Interesting. As a former solar terrestrial physicist, I have often wondered the same thing, though I'm still in the "I'm not sure" camp.

Good morning, Yo. Are you in the FL or Mexico time zone today? You're up pretty early either way. Last of my big infusions starts in about 40 mins. Then, it's on to some fairing and attaching hulls together.

    Thanks for the kind words.
