Great explanation of how a credit system might operate without a fractional reserve system junior (you have to be positive with the kids)! Now my midget muppet (that is pommy for non de plume) we are going to have to fail the effort and send you back to try again. Don't worry, practice makes perfect, its like trolling really, only you have to think a little harder. But thank you oh so much for the rather basic history of the fractional reserve system. Now may I suggest that if you are going to deride every banker that ever was and the system that they represent, that you set about proposing and effective alternate. Have you got the aurelian orbs for that or are they just plated?

Whom ever pens Masrapido is an abused and damaged soul that can't see reality or take responsibility for his life, but then you know that better than most. I doubt he is even Chilean, he seems a little angst ridden to me, more a white issue than a South American one. The Chileans I have met have all been quite calm, polite, hardworking people with a good sense of humor. I have enjoyed working with them by and large! No I refuse to believe that the little apparition on my screen called Masrapido is real. It has never done anything to convince me that he is more than a nasty character created by some roll playing troll that exists in the basement of this otherwise fine website.

    Mas...

Butler and the COT numbers suggested caution was warranted in gold while GATA on the other hand yelled 'death to manipulation' all the way into the wall.... splat! The last COT report had the small specs well out on a limb in the perfect position to be slaughtered... futures markets don't suffer fools and take no prisoners. Meanwhile the sensible in the gold camp took another 2x% on what will be around a 15% round trip when done.... its not that gold moves more than 20% in any year with any forecastable reliability now is it? :D

One of the first things a surfer must learn is that they cannot over power the waves. Go with the flow, most anything else is an insane waste of energy! If you truly understand why what happens in gold happens you will realise that it will never stop, ever, and should it stop for any reason you will need weapons with the will & skill to use them as there will be little in the way of government to keep civil order.

GATA is doing their level best to scare every serious private investor out of gold. They are seriously misguided in their approach and do no more than fuel the loony goldbug image, playing right into the hands of the financial crowd that despise gold. If you have any interest in gold you will cease feeding the monster, get wise and learn to surf a little.

P.S.> You have dismissed me as a young idiot in previous posts, yet you will remember many posts under the handle Meanz Beanz. I do this for a living... remember.

Excellent point. I'll divert to empanadas, to tune in the spirit of the suggestion.

    When's the show starting...?

Go to one of the climate threads where I was posting the photos of Santiago just a month ago, discussing the snow melting on the peaks around the city.

But wait, what's wrong with me...? you wouldn't know what is a "thread", let alone find one...

Here's a few photos of my city, Santiago de Chile. And I am going to my farm today. When I return, I'll post a couple of photos from the lake.

How's that for a head-crusher? Now, can you do the same for your alaskan igloo? Or aussie hamlet? Or where ever your multiple personalities reside?

Santa Fe? Merida? Some dark room in an asylum?

The photos are of the area I live in. Horrible, no? Typical slums of South America... I was even tempted to show you my little hastilly laid shack, on the steep hill as is the norm, but you'd find yourself crying uncontrollably, overwhelmed by jealousy and I couldn't do that to you...

Good thing the empanadas are not made with milk, should you turn to be a clearvoyant...

Know what a thread is... oh dear my pet puppet you are stooping low! I can manage a little more than that when it comes to the web... you may even find out just how much if you are lucky :D

I can google up shots of my home in Chile, my boat, my house in Sweden etc. I can find shots of any number of places from holidays etc... none of which prove anything more than I can use a keyboard or that I have left my country on the odd occasion....

    Eh... mate!

Masalai and Bamby deserve every point they get. Great posts every time. Informative, factual, eye-opening.

Meanies like local reactionary conservatives, who cannot understand the fact that they live along, not above, the rest of the world and we must find a compromise to that convivancy. For profit society that they defend by insulting everyone who doesn't like it, is imprisoning. It destroys what they claim is there to protect: the freedom of individuals.

Empty party rethorics they spew 24/7/365 is just a loads of ********. Proven again and again even today.

But having them understand the absurdities of their "system" is akin to talking to the wall.

    Nothing goes through.

I was referring to the cheese, as in nachos and cheese.

You just proved you cannot. These are not internet photos, even a 1 month old child would know that.

    You don't.
