    I wish I could see her up close-thanks for the report-any pictures? Best I can guess those towers are aero -no function other than that?
    Any chance of getting pictures of the ama foils up close?

    I do have some pictures of several parts of the boat. Unfortunately I don't have the cable that connects my camera to the computer handy.Over the weekend I should be able to post a couple. I doubt that they will add much. One thing we ought to have learned from the America's Cup is that until the boat is on its way to the start of the race, the foils can be changed. There may be somebody working on further refinements at Multiplast at this very moment.

    I fear that Doug may have more pressing matters to deal with for a while and hope the severe weather does no harm to him.I have attached a picture of the boat which shows what I called "conning towers" above the rudders.It occurs to me that these may be lifting gantries to enable the rudders to be raised in the event that they pick up debris.The other thing that I have never previously seen on a maxi tri is exactly this style of steering linkage;the links move a car along a track and disappear through a gaiter-similar to that on a car steering rack-into the hulls.
