    It is very easy to export GHS file by rhino 3.0 when the hull is composed of only one surface (hull made by maxsurf )
    but if there are more than one surface, then problem arises, when I give AttachGHSData command; then in the select geometry option , when I try to select the hull , only a part of the hull is selected, and the complete hull (half)
    can not be selected;
    I am facing a great porblem for this , to analyze my design. can you plz give me solution how can I analyze stability of ships who are composed of more than one surface in maxsurf?
    thanks!

    You need to go to the main "Hull Data" list, then use "add hull object" then you can add as many objects (surfaces) as you want.

    I found no words named "hull data" or " add hull object"
    when I type "attachghsdata" then a windo comes , then clicking on the hull, I get a option named " add part" and when I click on the hull a single portion of the hull is only selected, and then again cilicking on the hull name i get a option named " add components"
    by adding componants like this; I get a ghs data which is of errors,,,
    please tell me what I have to do!
    thanks!

    Have you tried working with a single polysurface, instead of a lot of different surfaces? This can sometimes clean up export problems in Rhino with other formats, it might work here too.

    I have joined the surfaces by "merge" commande ;;;;;;but after that also;;;; ghs export is not being fairly!
    I am afraid about that.
    Is there no solution for it?????

    Hi Pavel,
    Do you have a sample Rhino model that I could look at in order to try and help?
    Thanks,
