Replacing an outboard engine with an inboard engine

    I have a polyester sailingboat type Daimio 700, built in 1975 (France). The boat was equipped with a Mercury 7.5 pk outboard engine. The old Daimio could last many years more. In such a case, a new diesel engine is an good investment. It improves the seaworthiness and up-front costs will be earned back with lower maintenance costs. See more at

    Hi:please dont do that you gone to hate your boat everytime you need to check all the fluids leaks, smeelies, noises see my answer in the first or second page about and a outboard like a saildrive you gone to love it.
