    Welcome to the forum.

You are trying to achieve an extreme orange peel finish.

    Lower your fan air pressure.
    Narrow your fan
    Use thicker gelcoat than normal
Use a minute amount of webbing solution in the gelcoat

Do lots of test samples with notes of air settings and mix ratios.

    Good luck

As mentioned, you need to experiment a bit. You can slightly thicken the gel coat with silica if it's too thin.

You might want to look into using a viscosity cup.
It is a simple gravity device that permits the timed flow of a known volume of liquid passing through an orifice.

Check for manufacturer recommendation for the size of tip to viscosity of gel coat finish and the thickness of wet coats. Then keep a log of the viscosity, thickness, temp, humid etc...

Also use a really large tip and a gravity fed spraygun.
