I have ordered some poraver to make a syntactic foam to back up a rudder mold but was wondering if anyone here has used it as a rudder fill. I have built a lot of rudders over the years of many different methods, the last ones for a Baltic 42 and S2 10.2 using Pro-set epoxy foam but I have also built rudder blades and keel struts with self made syntactic foam made with epoxy resin and Styrofoam beads as a core fill so what I am thinking is just using poraver instead of the Styrofoam.
