Gaines Universal Info wanted

    Bit of a blast from the past here! I have recently acquired a Gaines Universal 6 cylinder Sidevalve marine engine, built approx 1935? Its approx 2.5 ltr (154 cu in).
    Gaines Gearbox & propellor Co were an English company based in Brentford, Middlesex England.
    It would appear that Gaines had their engines built under licence in the USA by Universal Motor Co of Oshkosh Wisconsin.
    I am looking for any info, manual whatever on the engine, is there anywhere doing spares for these anymore?
    Nearest US model would appear to be a Universal Bluejacket Six.
    Any info gratefully received!
